A Unique Challenge Awaits Competitors for the Prologue

Aislinn Prendergast, course planner

A sprint like few others! Get excited for the 2025 Easter Prologue on a map which is sure to thrill. “Tappit Hen”, while named after an ale glass, will require a sober head to get through! The sluice mining terrain is dominated by interlinked dredge holes, with many small and diverse mining features. It will be a fast one, but the flat and generally runnable terrain will mean that fierce concentration will be needed more than ever to keep track of your route!

Get ready to cheer (and heckle) your competitors as they run past the arena on the spectator leg, making sure that they will have to re-focus before entering the technical last loop. This event will be a fantastic combination of the beauty of the bush and the fast-paced, quick thinking of an urban sprint – what more could you want?
